KÖRÖSFŐ The fortified church of Körösfő (Izvorul Crisului, Rumania today), standing on a small hilltop outside of the village, was built in the 1700's. It is the largest and best-known church in Kalotaszeg an region beyond the Kings' pass (Királyhágó) populated by Hungarians, and rich in ethnic customs, i.e., national costumes, embroidery, knitting.
The tower of church, with the four by-pinnacles, were built in 1764.
